Thats right people, Lucy as seen at www.Lucyband.com is making a its return to the local music scean. But not as Lucy, we have all come to the conclution that we are all very angry therefor writing pop like punk is not really going to work. SO what are we doing you may ask? Well im not one for Labels but i think im ok with this one. As those of you who know me im a pretty metal/hardcore kid and so are the rest of the kids in this band. every one of us has been in a succesful hardcare band at one time or another, and we have realized that we shouldent try to be something were not. thats right the greatest collection of hardcore musicians to walk through this town are getting together to make the greatest super hardcore group ever. its going to be a couple of months of pratice before we hit the scene with any shows and we still have to fight over what our new band name is going to be, but WERE BACK!!!!

Some of you may be wondering why i would label this under the "sex/dating/relationship" catagory. ill explain. you see being in a band is like being in a relationship with someone, its got all the major aspects. commitment: you have to be at band pratice, if your not there the rest of the band cant really pratice. you have to spend time with everyone. you have to have open lines of comunication, its very important that everyone is talking and not just letting things build up untill they explode and leave the band (break up). theres sex in this relationship too, Shows, playing on stage is the sex of a relationship with a band. and the overall goal is to stay together forever as long as all the other parts of the relationship are making everyone in it happy. Of course if your not happy you shouldent be in that relationship, but if you have open lines of communication then those problems should get worked out. see the two are very similure. you have to offer each other support, if one person is down or feeling shitty or what not you have to take some time away from pratice or even befor a show maybe and talk to them, see whats going on, try and bring them up, the same as in a relatioship, you have to be connected to the people your playing with.

I am the luckiest man on the planet, i have an awesome and wonderful girlfriend who i love with all my heart, and if i can have half as good a "relationship" with my band as i do with her then nothing can go wrong.

There are some times where I wish my upbringing where different. I really want to write that as 'upgringing' and i have fixed it like twice so far. Anyway.. its all about instincts when you don't really know where you are.

Rewind a few hours.. no, more than a few.. three or four.. I'm soaked in beer. That is the start of my evening. No, rewind more.. I went to a soccer game. After that I wound up shotgunning beer. Fast forward, and I'm at a club and I have no clue what is going on, who gave me what, and what I was doing.

You confused? I am/was too. Basically, I was running on raw instincts, my upbringing really.. and I had no clue.. not a fucking clue.

Heheheheeh... Got a question for ya. What is it with me and the ones that have strings attached to them? I mean... the girls I like are either evil, or taken or some other set of circumstances that likes to creep up and punch me in the balls. Case in point last night.

Now I've been seeing this chick back home. Whenever I go home, we usually wind up hanging out and things were going good. Especially over the past break. So last night I was talking to her on AIM. She's been growing tired with CT. Bad memories that sort of thing. She'd talked about moving... but that was some time in the nebulous future. Well, she finally set a date. She's going to be moving to Cali at the end of summer. heheheheh

Well, it looked like it was going to be nice, healthy, productive relationship... so naturally, I knew something had to give. I mean, I'm lucky in that I've got a time limit, and that I know not to get too attached. But, this represented something. It represented a shot at something I've never had before. (No, not sex... ASSHOLES!)

Heheheheh... Well kids, it wouldn't be reality if Lio weren't single. And for all you hot ladies out there that were losing sleep over the fear that Ol' Lio was soon to be taken... rest easy, there's enough o' me to go around.

Help them get back together if you know that's what's going to happen. If they aren't going to get back together, be her friend and help her get over the break up. Maybe way later on down the road, if she sees you for who you are, and not just as a fillin for Speare, then maybe you could have something with her. But you won't even need that cause it will be so far down the road and you'll either be home or happily with someone else. Sorry it didn't work out with Red or Melanie. Forget them both though. You can find someone better.
