2415, WILSON-PAPPY SS: SIRIUS, EARTHORBIT (SCNN) -- For the second time in three weeks, fighter ships from the Horsehead: Nevris, B'KatkOrbit flew into the Sirius sector and microbombed several different space stations. Among the destroyed stations are the California, Russia and Jamaica units. Vowing that this was the last straw, Pontifex Francis Gellian has officially declared war against the B'Katkyans and their neighbors in the Nevris sector.

Already, many have begun to protest the war outside the Pontifex House on Earth's "Wilson-Pappy" space station. As Pontifical forces are gathered, the HRAFP (Human-Radgan Alliance For Peace) and it's symapthizers are pacing, carrying signs and shouting to oblivious bystanders.

"We need to encourage extreme tolerance when dealing with any Radgan," said HRAFP President, Michael Andrews, today. "The Pontifex does not realize that many Radgan empires are not into the later stages of development and that they are only using our own technology against us."

Eighty years ago, when envoys from Earth arrived in the Nevris sector to colonize planets, they located the Radgans - a race of legless, spherical beings - and shared technology with them. Now, it is believed that those same Radgans are experimental, and attack us because they do not realize it is wrong. Pontifex Gellian has a different view however. In a press release a few hours ago, he stated:

"It is my firm belief that the Radgans on B'Katk fully understand the ramifications of their actions. I am certain that they realize it is wrong and now they will pay the price." Gellian also stated that the Radgans' refusal to speak with him about the microbombings, "only intensifies their guilt and the magnitude of their crimes."

It is unknown at press time whether or not forces from the Jerusalem station will help, since half of its population consists of civilised Radgans.
