first off where did all the cool options go? i said they were lame i dident say i dident like having them....
anyways, calliander, for a man or woman who truely loves music, so much that it is there passion there life force if you will, there can be no greater moment in theyre lives then seeing theyre beloved music played live. to be at a concert to actually feel the music running through you as its being created, is one of the most euphoric feelings ever. i can really only compare the feeling to sex. weather its mozart at the piono (yes i know we can never truley experince him live but many a pianist can do more than justice to his music) or Dieing Fetus ripping your soul from its very being, music brings out the life inside you that maybe you dident know you had. when i saw Joe Morello, the man that had a hand in creating "Take 5" when i was 15 it changed my life forever. when i went to see Maceo Parker at Toads Place i left feeling not only like i had experienced a great great show, but that i was forever part of something more than just music, i was a part of life, love, and FUNK. A legend on stage no more than 20 feet from me, no words can really describe that feeling and do it justice. or take it to another level, when i go to see Candiria, and im jumping and stomping through the pit and im kicking and hitting kids and theyre kicking and hitting me, we are releasing something that the people on the outside dont understand we share a bond that only we could ever understand that to the outsider just looks like a bunch of kids beating the hell out of one another. or to Trey, having never seen Phish i cant say how awesome it would be but i can imagin, just seeing mike on stage for real with Trey at the Tweeter Center this year, absolutely amazing so much so that i wont even try to describe it because i couldnt ever write what that felt like. for me, and for alot of people like me there can be no price tag for these feelings, no matter how silly it may seem to anyone. SO i guess what im trying to say is that money for music, be it $7.00 for a local show at the Tune In or to see Phish at Madison Square Garden for $10,000.00, its all the same to me because its so deep inside me.
