I believe that there's an easy solution to this whole discussion of concert tickets and their inherent worth. ANY form of entertainment is relative to the individual. If one believes that such entertainment is worth a certain price, then it will be spent, bottom line. Granted, it may not be practical in the eyes of society (or maybe just our little group) to spend $10,000 on a concert ticket, but if the spender is willing to accept the consequences of the expense, and if the expense is truly worth whatever price, then so be it. Personally, I feel entertainment is a luxury to be indulged in when I'm able to afford it, and sometimes I spend when I necessarily "shouldn't" or can't afford it, but hell, it's my money and I'll do what I want with it.
