I think finally everyone is pretty mobile. Lio, despite having recently lost his wheels, will make a triumphant return to the road soon I hope.
Both Arjie (as I guess everyone refers to him now.. or archie if you prefer) and Wilson bought cars this weekend. I didn't get to take a snap of arjie's car yet because the dealer is fixing a few minor things (fuel sensor, replace a sunroof electrical cable).
Wilson nabbed a 1995 Saab 900 Convertible. Manual transmission. After closing the deal, we went to a Santa Monica cemetery and he drove his car for the first time. Until today, he had never tried a manual transmission, and after a few laps and some left leg exercise, he was on his own and driving. It's a fun car to drive, the turbocharger is neat. I want one.
I don't have very good photos, we'll take some more later in the week I'm sure.
Yes, it's a cemetery. It's one of the only places in Los Angeles that doesn't have traffic. There are plenty of ones in Hollywood that do have traffic though. I like the cemetery reflection on the side of the car
While waiting for Arjie to return from inside Ralphs, we were inspecting the two amps (a dual channel and a quad channel) that were in the trunk. It was actually a little too hot to have the top down (back sweat with the leather) and the car has a kickin' climate control system, but how can you resist the sun and the wind.
