What a great DVD set. It's so weird to be able to notice the difference in picture quality and filming styles between the first season and the stuff we've been seeing on the more recent seasons. The first season was definitely much more gritty and more like Law and Order than it is now.
I also realized, watching the first episode again, that we can't really get mad at the Luke Perry thing from the fifth season since Rebadow knew Beecher's wife's name and said that God told him all about it.
I forgot that Alvarez got shanked before he even got into Oz.
Man, so phat. Such a good series.
