Today was fun. Slept in (I need sleep! Lots of sleep!). This also meant skipping two classes, but they aren't that important. Headed to a luau of sorts, good music, excellent DJ... shitty food. I never realized that so many people are completely incapable of using a damn grill. Throw on some charcoal, let some moron throw a LOT of fluid on there (you know there is always a moron that likes to do that.. I like to be that moron). Throw in a match, stand back and let it heat up.
Well.. these folks didnt do that. When they finally got the grill going, they COVERED THE GRILLING SURFACE IN FOIL! Why?! They then threw on everyone's favorite phallic meat substances, veggie burgers, and hamburgers. By now it was dark and getting cold (Massachusetts sucks). When you add so many layers of foil, it not only makes cooking take longer, but also means that all the fat bubbles around soaking everything in it (yum). Then you get angry vegans (who still eat their fat soaked veggie burger... they're liars). All I wanted was a damn hot dog. So I waited, ate two, and left.
Then went to see U571. Nothing bad to say about the movie itself, except the lazy guy running the projector (How do we go from having the grade school suckups running projectors to these fat lazy blind guys running them as a career?). If you forget your glasses, you can't focus the projector. So throughout the whole movie I could see them trying to focus it. Everyone was going back at one point to complain. Despite the headache from the blurriness, the movie was great.
Got back home, took a look at my IRC logs.. seems that everyone was dead.
