I've been feeling good lately.. unfortunately I have been neglecting some important things too tho..

I love California. I love it a lot. The weather is great.. this does not mean I have not felt cold while here, its a different type of cold.. its a cold that I can feel on my skin, but not in my bones. It is hard to describe. I have only been here a week, and I don't want to leave.

I'm staying at Preacherman's. Preacherman lives in Palo Alto, CA. It's a classy town that is quite expensive to live in. BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus are all very very common to this place. Preacherman has a nice apartment which when I arrived contained a futon for a bed, a desk in the corner, and really no other furniture. By Sunday, a new bed was added (so I am sleeping on the futon couch), as well as a HDTV. This has filled up the place quite a bit, and it is real swanky. But that isn't exactly why I don't want to leave.. although living on Preacherman's couch ain't too bad of a gig.

I am not sure if its the weather or the money in this area, but the women are quite attractive. Thin and happy. I know everyone is supposed to try to be deep and say looks don't matter, but that isn't totally true.. sure, it shouldn't be a rule that you only date thin women.. that really shouldnt be a conscious part of the equation. But it is part of the equation, because it is generally difficult to see past someone's weight if there is nothing behind those eyes of theirs. No one should go around saying "Oh, I can't date her.. she looks at least five pounds over my limit", but who really does that besides Calliander?

Anyway, I digress. It's just a great place to be. Being able to wear shorts and a t-shirt in the winter is wonderful. The fresh fruit and juices are also really k-rad. Liquor being sold until 2am 7-days-a-week is also great (sure, New York is 24/7 or something..). Great local wines, cheap fast food (In&Out Burger is real cheap.. sure, they only offer three foods, but who cares(Hamburger, Cheeseburger, and Fries) !

Too bad I can't talk every one of my friends to move out here. I know most of them can't or won't. People don't like leaving their families, etc. Ah well.

I can't really live in Palo Alto.. besides the cost of living, there are too many tech workers (which are mostly male). That kills the night life, so people have to go to San Francisco.. which isnt that far away.. but still.
