Hehe. I was just being facetious. Damn you, internet, for not being able to illustrate meaning!!!

By the way, Stone, about our argument last night; my mother says babies are born only with the instinct for survival, not the knowledge of what can and cannot kill them.

I dunno. If we are, in fact, born with that knowledge, or if there are cases of a single baby not falling down stairs in the absence of gates or (let's hope it hasn't been tested) a baby not crawling off a cliff then that changes everything. That, like you said, puts a meaning into life. And to me, if there's a meaning to life, some ultimate purpose that we live, then that is proof alone that God exists. You don't even need to worry about anything else. Some omnipotent being had to put that knowledge into us. That also means, to me, that you need to be wholly against abortion because the child is thinking complex thoughts inside the womb, therefore making it a human before it's even born. Currently, I believe that there is no meaning to life, that we are not part of some greater plan, and thus that we are simply an accident. I currently believe that babies are not real humans until they are capable of thinking complex thoughts, such as, "Falling off of this cliff will kill me," and as such I do not think abortion kills a human. (Please, comments about my insensitivity are not necessary.) Any information prior to my current information changes everything, man.

And anyway, I still don't see what any of that has to do with my thinking that I am an incompassionate bastard because I think that I should be responding differently from how I really am. And I'm not lowering my car and putting tints and ground effects on it, dammit!
