It's all fun and games to joke about people who are gay and whatnot, but I don't think any one of us seriously dislikes or hates gay people. Well... maybe hunch. But there's a very clear line between "alternative lifestyle" and "deviant sexual behaviour", and there's something really wrong with the people who fit into the latter category. Furries, plushies, and all those cosplay weirdos DEFINITELY fit into that latter category, make no mistake about that.
I think this "furry" thing can be attributed to Manga comics, where like 99% of all the characters start off looking like normal people but then the women have penises and boobs and then they suddenly have cat ears and a tail. You get the random weirdo who just really loves animals in there (like that guy who got his body physically modified to look like a cat), but I think most of them are just stupid "otakus" who think they're being cool by buying into this crap. Did any of you guys ever read any of those Manga books they had at Clockwork when we went there? Like, every single one of them was like that!
This crap has gone so far that the upcoming episode of CSI will have the main characters follow a murder or something to a club where furries go!
As for reality TV, yeah, it sucks. The only show that sounds halfway decent in the current crop of these pieces of junk is the Joe Schmoe Show, since it's not real. Meh.
