I only like four songs off of the new Eminem album:
Cleanin' Out My Closet
My Dad's Gone Crazy
Sing For the Moment
Without Me
I think he's trying too hard with the new album. We've seen the angry, stupid Eminem on the past two albums and now he wants us to meet the serious Eminem you see on most of the album's songs. I don't like the serious Eminem. I also don't like the beats on the new album. They're pretty average for something coming from a Dre protégé. The four songs that I like remind me of his second album - the one I think is his best so far. Sing For the Moment is reminiscent of his original album, the one nobody counts.
I will give him that he's growing excellently in the "flow" department. He's really got some superb verbal skills.
